    Re: Newsletter 15th May 2015

Al, the distinction between the EU and the trade partnerships are not really understood by most. In my opinion the EU is just an extra level of Gov't and we should belong the trading part only, just...

    Re: Newsletter 15th May 2015

Al, don't think I've seen that poll.
Almost impossible to get 'facts' on something like Trident. Even the annual running costs are probably "secret". Basically comes down to either belief or...

    Al, just a comment...

    Re: New season planting

Hi Liz, hope the garden survives the natural 'enemies'.
Weather has taken a turn for the worse here, but we have had only 60% of the normal April rainfall. Snow, sleet and hail swirling around the...

Hi Rick, yes I know that. It is the Sunday 'around' my birthday and Fathers' Day is around my younger son's birthday. So we had good 'reminders'.

    Mothering Sunday

It is Mothering Sunday here in the UK. It has been hijacked by Hallmark and is commonly referred to as Mothers' Day. The real meaning has been discussed here many a time.
    Anyway Happy Mothering...

I am not familiar with the singer but have heard several different versions of this song. I agree that it is a lot more uplifting than the Corries' song. Not a bad suggestion at all~~
