    Alastair, my partner John was one of the SAS troops who were there. I just asked him and he said that he was in the helicopter with the chief of police directing the operation.

    Other languages have their strange quirks too. At least in English we don't have to learn the gender of the noun. French has masculine & feminine and German has masculine, feminine and neuter.

    Same in Oz....only guide dogs are allowed on transport, shops & restaurants. You'd be surprised where they are allowed in some other countries. In Germany and USA I have seen dogs in restaurants...
