    I was at Jane Espie's website earlier. She indicated that she would be in Australia sometime between February and March. I hope the tour company can issue waterwings to visitors.

      I think we should ALL look at the following news site, for some early photos of damage sustained by the cyclone.

      It breaks ones heart to see the impact on lives of ordinary folk and families. We have yet to see what effect it has had on animals.

      Here in Scotland we are having winter storms, and the islands and west coast are being hit badly, but gale force winds are half that of the cyclone.

        I understand the near the summit of highland mountain Cairngorm (1245m 4084ft), yesterday there was a wind gust recorded at 140mph....

        Not a record, but still VERY Strong, and we are to expect stormy weather for a few days to come.

        Dumfriess and Galloway appear to have been badly affected with roof and structure damage reported.
