    Hello to all

    I only joined this community in order to respond to certain gross inaccuracies quoted by a former ES member. However, having studied the numerous boards closer, there are a lot of good people here and a lot of interesting topics being discussed and I'm quite keen to read more.

    It's great to see so many people from distant shores looking through the past back to Scotland. Lang may yer lums reek

    Hello Alasdair and welcome!!
    I'm not looking through the past , I was born in Edinburgh, moved to the states when I was 13, it's funny but I have no interest in digging deep into the past I'm quite happy knowing where I'm from. I read that you have Campbell roots, that was my maiden name maybe were cousins lol

    I do indeed have Campbell roots. All my mother's side come from Appin & Oban in Argyll.
