I read a post from Dr Nicholas J Fiddes on another website today. In his post he discussed some additional changes for DC Dalgliesh that would include focusing more on retail and trade customers as well as ending direct to consumer sales. For consumers who prefer the particular weaves supplied by DC Dalgliesh, this will require that they make purchases from Scotweb or ensure that other companies utilize DC Dalgliesh.

I have only purchased tartan articles in the form of kilts and the two companies I utilized didn't always specify which mill they utilized. This might only be a problem for an individual who has made purchases of tartan articles to the point they have developed some preference for a specific mill.
