Don 't know about them still liking snow when they get older. It was my Dad's habit before he went to work in the morning to open the front door, get the milk in and let the dog out. One morning he opened the door, dug the milk out of the snow and the dog took one look and refused to go out Dad said that he still had to go out in it to get to work.

During the daylight hours, my boxer would prefer to be out in the snow. She loves to dig through the drifts and play with the neighbor's lab. At night she has backed away from the door when it is truly cold.
