Why does the US get all these tornadoes when they don't happen very often in the rest of the world? If it's not tornadoes it's bush fires or floods. We get the bush fires here in Oz but not to the extent that the US does (or so it seems to me). We often get cyclones forming but most of them weaken before hitting land. I suppose there is a scientific reason for it all.
