      I love brussel sprouts.....one of my favourite vegetables along with cabbage. Guess it's because I was brought up on them :-)

        Actually, for you, Tom & Elda....I love broccoli, & also brussel sprouts. The main veg I eat the most of is broccoli. "the devil take the hindmost!" Not sure just what I mean, but it seemed appropriate!! Joan

          Cruciferous vegetables are ok, but this time of year, I get cravings for asparagas roasted in olive oil. Go figure?

            Brussel sprouts and other brassicas are not good for people on Blood thinners. They promote blood clotting. I just found that out because I am cooking Xmas dinner and one of our visitors will not be able to partake. I've even researched some new recipes...
