  • THE ROBERT BURNS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PRESTWICK

I'd love to know members views on the campaign asking for the renaming of Scotlands "Ayrshire" airport.

The campaign asks for the owners and shareholders to change the name to:
THE ROBERT BURNS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT PRESTWICK.

The airport sits a couple of miles north of where Robert Burns was born in 1759 and where the new £21million Robert Burns Birthplace Museum has been built.

The Ayrshire airport has been known as Pure dead Brilliant GLASGOW Prestwick Airport since 2005.

You can find the Campaign on Facebook at:

Almost 5,500 people "like" the campaign so far.
The campaign is almost a year old.
