HI, Alastair...I just want to ask a simple question. What happened to your mustache? Do miss it!

Joan, like me, he is a bit short on top, therefore a beard is in the making, which will be transplanted in due course.

It will likely be back before long Joan... hoping after a bit it might come back a bit more brown rather than white but time will tell <grin>

Re: Update on Electric Scotland as at October 2013

In case anyone thinks that I'm being suspiciously "hard" on Alastair, my own "faither" was very bald most of his life. And so was my elder brother, & so is my younger brother. My mother's side, Aunt Mabel, was also bald by the time she died at 92! So, whatever happens, I'm still lucky to have ANY hair myself. My "maither's" hair was very thin as well. Actually my dad used to say something to the effect...that "one can't grow grass on a busy street", implying that he was certainly intelligent. That's true.

                      Thanks, Joan

That's ok Joan... I can take it <grin>

Actually you go through a phase where you keep trying to smooth the wee bit of hair over your bald head but any gust of wind sure blows it away. Eventually it dawns on you that you've lost your hair so might as well admit it :-)

Alastair...I had a "set-up" date one time, & this guy had one of those "comb overs"....but he'd sort of coiled the hair he had in a circle on top of his head. All I can say, personally, is that "nothing clicked" with him, as I thought he was foolish!!! I'd rather see a bald man than that contrivance!

Thanks for your "wisdom" in this respect!! Ho, ha, etc.
