Out of all those Ranald you got #6, #9 & #11 although some of the others are close. Good start and there are some hard ones.

      Cheers,

      Hugh

Good work Ranald! I'll add #2 - Repairs; #3 - Bloopers; #4 - Up the Down Staircase; #10 - Reasonable; and #12 - Safety in Numbers. I had the same for #8, but would go a bit further on #7 - Plunderer. Maybe Joan will catch the rest before breakfast!

Clean sweep there Rick! That leaves #1, #5 & #8 I think. I think they are the toughest ones (Especially #5).

          Cheers,

          Hugh

Hey all...as I was out all day yesterday, looking at used cars, just got the print out. I think #1 might be "torn-up road". Haven't had time to think of #'s 5 & 8 yet. J

Hi Hugh, and well done Rick.

Perhaps #1 Middle of road or Through Road ? #5 No but's it's got to be butter #8 Turned inside out.

Good thought Ranald, it is the middle of the road, and #5 is about butter but what about the colour, and #8 is also correct. When I looked at them, I found #5 to be the hardest.

                Cheers,

                Hugh

Hi Hugh, I looked up a dictionary, and found a word, but it does not look roght to me...

Derived from the last three letters...

                  #5 Reddish pink butter

I probably led you astray with that clue as there is no red colour in the answer but keep at it. I don't expect any one will get it.

                      Cheers,

                      Hugh

Hmm. I was going to try something like "Bread, no Butter" but the clock is running out and we may have to surrender!

I was not too happy with the clues for this one but you are the closest to the answer, since butter and bread are both in the answer. How can you get the colour red in the answer?

                          Cheers,

                          Hugh
