They are quite a challenge for me as well. I just dropped by to see how many loyal fans of Enigma Machine were here. Good Luck, Doug.

Hi Doug, thanks for 'dropping' in. Yes there are some very hard ones, even when given the answers, they can still be a mystery lol

Good health to You and the Family.

Ranald I am willing to explain any that you are having problems with. I go through them all before posting to make sure I understand them so that I can foresee any problems and maybe modify the clues a bit.

              Cheers,

              Hugh

Hi Hugh, I still do not see the answer to #5.... despite the list you have posted

Where does the B with the 2 below come in?

I just have one question Ranald, did you ever play Bingo? If you never did, you would not understand the situation at all. The caller (the one who draws the numbers) would call out 'under the B 2'. You would look at your Bingo card and the 5 columns under the letters B I N G O (across the top of your card) had a string of numbers. You would look at your card under the letter B and see if you had the number 2 on your card. The objective being to get 5 numbers in a row (up, down or diagonally) and if the number 2 was the last number you needed to get 5 in a row you would yell 'BINGO' and win the prize, whatever it was. If you have never played it, you would never come up with the answer to that puzzle. Bingo is more popular over here than in Europe I would guess. So it was a cultural thing but Rick or Joan would understand that one.

                  Cheers,

                  Hugh

Hi Hugh, I have never played the game, but did know there was a 'caller', but had no idea just what he 'called.

Half a point for me getting 'Bingo' lol

Many thanks for your patience and help.
