  • Enigma Machine #78

    Here's your next challenge.

Good solving everyone. Rick might be the only one to get #4 as it is distinctly Canadian and #8 is close by.

    Cheers,

    Hugh

Hi to everyone, here are a few tries at this one: #1 "David and Goliath", #2 "Paradise", #3 "World without end", #7 "Many are called but few are chosen", #8 "Zamboni", #9 We three Kings", #10 "Grinch" (who stole Christmas) and #11 "Proverbs". Cheers all, John.
And perhaps #6 "The Night before Christmas"?

John you got 8 of them and you were close on #6. Good job!

You all won't believe it, but just got home last night at 1:30 AM. Extreme tiredness! I checked out the last Enigma, did some, close but no cigar. However, I might guess~~~~ #6 is either "The night before, the night before Christmas", or "Two Nights before Christmas". Will resume the competition on next one~~~ Joan

Glad you're back Joan, but you and Ranald have struck out on your answers.

                  Cheers,

#6 is a well known Christmas song and #5 is a traditional Christmas function.

                    Cheers,

                    Hugh

Hi Hugh, using the missing letters..... #5 See the Christmas Tree

I do not think that is correct.

You're right Ranald, the function is more than seeing.

                        Cheers,

                          Re: Enigma Machine #78

Hi again Hugh - perhaps #5 could be "Trimming the Christmas Tree".

Has this song got anything at all to do with the answer to #6? If not, I hope you enjoy it anyway.

John you got #5 bang on but the Christmas song is better known than the one you provided, but thanx for it anyway.

                            Cheers,

                            Hugh

My clue for #6 was a little off, it should have been the first line of a popular Christmas song.

                              Cheers,

                              Hugh
