Emily performs a wonderful variety of Scottish tunes, what better way to start than to have her perform for all on the Forum.

Emily Smith - The Silver Tassie Emily Smith The Silver Tassie with Martha Wainwright and Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh.
Emily has a heart rendering voice and it really shows on this track.
Mairead has left her fiddle at home but shows her class with her backing along with Martha.
    Also a mention for Liam.

          Emily Smith.Silver Tassie

This a repeat of "Silver Tassie" on a previous post, but on this one Emily gives some background to the song which is quite interesting.

Gordon, I especially liked that Emily mentioned Stuart Duncan, who is one of my favorite fiddlers....from Nashville, & also Richard Thompson, who sang & played with Bonnie Raitt on Dimming of the Day, as well as doing so with his own wife. Enjoyed listening to Emily. Joan

I thought it was about time I added some more from Emily.
