Hi Ranald,

I am getting better day by day, so much so, I'm thinking of starting back at work this coming Tuesday.

The book is on hold just now. I spoke with my publisher last week about it all and I have to make a decision. I am reluctant to put it on the back burner but I don't know if I can finish it anytime soon. I'm betwixt and between.

Anyway, thanks for asking after me. What about yourself and how are you keeping in this topsy turvy weather we have been having?

Hi Ranald,

The book is due to be handed in to my publishers at the end of next month but i don't think that will happen. I'm five chapters short of where I want to be so I might have to try to put it back a couple of months.

I lost a couple of chapters to different reasons - couldn't track down any information and the other chapter just didn't support itself.

Also, my work is quite busy at the moment so that has to take precedence.

But I shall persevere

How are you keeping with all this horrible weather we have - and are promised?

How did you get on with The Book of Glasgow Murders? Did you enjoy its very dark subject material or was it too much for you?
