    I've been adopted. That thing has made itself part of the family!

    Re: PESKY BIRD

    Hi Lizzie, not sure turning back is the best way to ignore the visitor !

    Amazing how animals can sense a non hostile environment.

    Nice photo, thanks.

    Is it a vulture or cormorant?

    Re: PESKY BIRD

    Hi Hugh;
    It's a Turkey Vulture otherwise known as a Buzzard. I'm sure my neighbors think I've finally lost it as I stand within feet informing it of its ugly appearance. But, they are gorgeous gliding in the sky.

    Yes we have them here in Ontario and they are lovely gliders.

    Lizzie...Just wondering WHY the buzzard is eyeing your sleeping kitties?? Perhaps he thinks they just might be "road-kill". I had road-kill in front of my home sometime last year(ish), & 5-7 buzzards lit upon it, scattering stuff all over the road. They barely moved when vehicles came by, but returned immediately. I am pausing while packing at this moment!! Moving 9 days from now. Glad to see people are still around. Joan
