Tony Blair gets peace medal from U.S
Is it not amazing......a politician takes his country to war on flawed intelligence.....(Iraq).....then follows on to Afghanistan (British KIA there now about 309) .....retires on a fat pension...and then gets another medal:eek::rolleyes:

The US has selected Tony Blair to receive a medal and a £67,000 prize for his "steadfast commitment to conflict resolution".
He will be presented with the Liberty Medal by former President Bill Clinton in Philadelphia in September.
Mr Clinton said: "It was a privilege to work with my friend Tony Blair to help end 30 years of sectarian violence and broker a lasting peace in Northern Ireland, to stop the killing in and mass exodus from Kosovo, and to develop policies that would improve living conditions for people in both our countries." Previous winners include Nelson Mandela, US President Jimmy Carter and U2 frontman Bono.
