  • Thoughts on a Sunday Morning - 13th June 2021

    Good morning . . .

Having campaigned for change and causes and rights for most of my life, I can look back and stand in awe of the changes that have taken place in my lifetime. We are not perfect, but we have . . . “come a long way, baby”.

And I believe that most of us are trying to be better and do better and make for a better world. I also happen to believe that has been the goal of the vast majority of our forebears throughout all ages. Thus, these are the THOUGHTS I have mulled over this week,

As we mourn those who died unrecorded and un-mourned and seen a family struck down in the streets by a demented stranger, let us also pray for a better day for all.

To that end, let each of us examine our own consciences and souls and commit to how we, as individuals, may set the example that will make for a finer and more just world for all.

And may God bless those who mourn with consolation . . .
