Re: Converted a wmv file to make it a YouTube video
John, I have sent a 'private' message to you with my email address.
On the main screen look at the top right, where you will see the link to the private message.
Perhaps up to six attached photos in the first try ?

Okay, I'll give that a try, Ranald - I'll have to have a rummage through the shed first to find out which box they're in, there's a lot of stuff still not unpacked yet from the move.

I didn't convert it Ranald... just uploaded it to YouTube and they did the rest.

Re: Converted a wmv file to make it a YouTube video
John, how many photos of unknown scenery do you have?
Not a good idea to put them up on the web, but how about sending a small selection to me, to see if I can help?
A condition being that under NO circumstances copies can not be taken.
Should a 'general' area of a scene be known, then using Google Earth could be a big help.
Just a thought.....

Re: Converted a wmv file to make it a YouTube video
What an enjoyable collection of photographs - my father was a keen photographer and had his own darkroom set up in the garage; I still have the camera he brought with him from the old country, a Kodak 'bellows' one in a brown canvass case, together with many photographs taken there. Unfortunately I don't know where many of them were taken or who the people are. I wish now I had gone over them with him and noted down details - too late now, however. A lesson here for the younger folk.
