Graham Parsons died in 1974 at the age of 26. Like a lot of popular musicians of his generation suffered as a result of a celebrity lifestyle. He started collaberating with Emmy Lou Harris after doing some work with Keith Richards of Rolling Stones fame while briefly residing in France. Graham Parsons generated some well received music that nevertheless was seldom commercially successful during his lifetime. Prior to a brief solo career he was a member of the Byrds and the Flying Burrito Brothers.
