    Hi Alastair,

Here is a little more for you to go on with.//////

The Ida Bay Railway is the last operating bush “tramway” in Tasmania
Ride 14km in a WWII era locomotive on Australia's most southern railway. Start at Lune Lune River station, then travel through bush land abundant with bird life and wild flowers to the end of the line at Deep Hole and Elliott's Beach . Enjoy the beautiful scenery of button grass plains, white sandy beaches and the banks of Ida Bay and Lune River Estuary.

At Elliott's Beach there's a shelter with BBQ facilities, picnic tables, chair and toilets. Enjoy some time at the beach with a picnic or barbecue and catch a later train back to the station. Before or after your trip, visit the Ida Bay Railway Cafe and enjoy a selection of hot and cold food or drinks. Barbecue meat packs are available at the Cafe

Tasmania - Paradise at the End of the World - The Secrets of Nature .

It was only two hundred years ago that Tasmania was a British colony known as Van Diemens Land -- and so remote that its only use was as a penal settlement for the most hardened criminals. Times have definitely changed, yet that remote untamed island of history is never far away.

Today Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, is a bustling modern city and busy port. Mount Wellington rises straight out of the city to more than 1200 metres. It's possible-- in just a little over half an hour - to drive from a city centre restaurant to a wilderness where you could freeze to death. Even in summer snow can fall here. To the people of Hobart, this place is simply The Mountain - a finger of a vast and trackless wilderness pointing right at the heart of the city -- so it's not surprising that Tasmania's wild heritage plays a central role in the lives of the island's human inhabitants.

    Mona Museum oct 2013 (10min 720/50p m2ts) .

    Published on Nov 19, 2013

Hi everyone, this is a video of the Mona Roma Catamaran leaving the Hobart waterfront taking passengers up the Derwent River to the now famous Mona Museum, located about 15km north of Hobart, approximately 5 km from where i live, and just 3km from the Cadbury chocolate factory.

The boat trip takes approx 30 minutes to arrive at the Mona Museum, and the 2nd part of the video is shot from the shoreline at Frypan Island, just 200 metres across the bay from the Mona Museum, showing the Mona Roma ferry arriving at Mona.

My next addition to this video will include me traveling up the River on the Mona Roma and arriving at Mona, and finishing with some video to be shot walking around the grounds of the Mona Museum.

Another video that is no longer available so here is another replacement...
