  • Great Canadian Family History Site

I've found this site quite helpful, mainly for some of the forms used for recording families, (I know, there are plenty elsewhere ).

Canadian Scots would probably find it quite useful, also those who went "south of the border".

Have you ever been totally confused with your relationship to other members of your family tree--I was . there is one form in particular that I found very helpful----the Relationship Chart, this prints out well in colour (A4).

You can access the chart directly here--

or ----why not browse the complete site---

Searching for Your Canadian/Scottish Ancestors by Larry Luickbie is an excellent resource with many tips and links to other resources.

Re Great Canadian Family History Site

This will be very helpful for those from New Zealand whose family came from Nova Scotia in the late 1850's and a searching for their links.
